A Journey Through Space: From the Sun to Neptune

Year 5/6 pupils embarked on an exciting adventure as they explored the wonders of our solar system! This engaging activity took them on a remarkable 4.5 billion kilometre journey, all cleverly fitted into a single toilet roll. They imagined travelling from the blazing Sun to the distant planet Neptune, discovering the unique characteristics of each planet along the way.

This hands-on experience not only sparked curiosity about Earth and Space but also encouraged creativity.
