UKS2 - Jamia Mosque Madni Visit

Our UKS2 pupils also embarked on an enlightening trip to Jamia Mosque Madni in Halifax, immersing themselves in Islamic traditions and culture. This experience was not only educational but also enriching, allowing our students to gain a deeper understanding of the diverse world around them. Following their visit, the children interacted with Year 6 pupils at St. Augustine’s School, which serves a very different community compared to ours in Hebden Bridge. This interaction proved incredibly beneficial for our students, who often experience a less culturally diverse environment. It was a day filled with learning, friendship, and new perspectives!
