UKS2: Leeds Art Gallery

On Wednesday 28th January Year 5/6 took the train to Leeds for a day at the Art Gallery. We took part in a workshop "How to be an Art Detective." We made our own sketchbook so we could record our ideas and questions whilst we moved from room to room competing different challenges. These encouraged us to ask questions and think about what the art was representing and communicating.

After lunch we explored the gallery further and then chose one piece to investigate as the inspiration for our work this term. It was a busy but beautiful  and creative day!
