Leeds City Museum - Ancient Egypt

At Leeds City Museum, Lower Key Stage 2 found out more about the Ancient Egyptian culture, interacting with some of the displays and viewing many of the amazing artefacts like jewellery, objects from daily life and papyrus with hieroglyphics, this gave them an insight into some of the beliefs and rituals of the Ancient Egyptian people. One of the most fascinating parts of the visit, was seeing a mummy called Nesyamun lying in his sarcophagus, he was over 3,000 years old.
