Inspiring Adventure for a Cause

Recently, one of our enthusiastic pupils, Nova, took part in the WWF Great Winter Wander event, embarking on an impressive 10km walk up and around the stunning Table Mountain in the Brecon Beacons. Her excitement was infectious, and she even ran up to the summit, showcasing her determination and passion for the environment!

Through her efforts, she has raised an incredible £351 for the World Wildlife Fund, helping to support endangered species. A fantastic £99 of this amount came from a delightful cake sale she organised at the end of term, where her baking skills truly shone!

To put her fundraising into perspective, £350 could fund a GPS-enabled camera for patrols in the US and Canada, specifically aimed at protecting polar bears. This technology plays a crucial role in monitoring these magnificent creatures and ensuring their safety.
