A Heartwarming Story of Kindness

In a delightful display of creativity and community spirit, Iona, Ruby, and Madeleine took it upon themselves to make a difference. These enterprising young girls crafted beautiful keyrings, bracelets, and fiddle toys, which they sold to their fellow pupils in the playground. Their hard work and dedication paid off, as they raised an impressive £128.21 for the Full of Joy animal sanctuary.

Nestled in the picturesque hills between Hebden Bridge and Todmorden, Full of Joy is a not-for-profit sanctuary run entirely by passionate volunteers. They provide a safe haven for a variety of animals, including ponies, pigs, goats, and even ducks! The sanctuary focuses on rescuing animals at risk of slaughter and those in need of a loving home. Their mission is to restore joy to the lives of animals who have faced trauma, and in turn, these animals bring joy back to the volunteers.

Thanks to Iona, Ruby, and Madeleine’s efforts, more animals at Full of Joy will receive the care and support they desperately need, showcasing the incredible impact of kindness and community involvement.
