A Wonderful Visit to Magna Science Adventure Museum

We had a fantastic visit to Magna Science Adventure Museum, where there was so much to explore and enjoy. Our day began in the earth, fire, air and water pavilions, and we loved discovering how each one linked to different forces in the world around us. There was plenty to see and do, from watching the thrilling fire and air tornados, to using pneumatic systems to move objects, and even aiming at targets with water syphons.

We also learnt about the smelting of metals and found out how the factory used to manufacture many tonnes of steel in the past in the Big Melt experience. It was fascinating to step back in time and understand how important the site once was.

Our workshop was interactive and fabulous. We investigated rocks, sorted them into groups, and made our own bicarbonate of soda volcanoes. We also used different colours of playdough to show how igneous rock builds up from flowing lava.
