Trip to Royal Armouries

Year 3 & 4 had a wonderful trip to the Royal Armouries. In our workshops we learnt to stand, march and dress like a Roman soldier while learning some Latin words in the process. The Iceni workshop, told us about Boudicca’s uprising. We prepared for battle, inspecting weapons, applying woad paint and practising our battle cries. We explored the museums exhibits and no one got lost! It was a lovely day!
