Our School Art Gallery

Look at the wonderful work children from all classes have been doing in Art.

The Early Years have been exploring different ways to print and using primary colours created "Butterfly" prints.

KS1 developed their printing skills using wheels to create patterned paper they cut into transport shapes. They also used different shapes to print pictures of different types of transport.

Year 3/4 took their printing skills to another level. They impressed images of famous Egyptians onto polystyrene sheets and then printed onto papyrus. The aim was to create a Pop Art style piece and we imagined we were Andy Warhol and thought about who he might make prints of in Ancient Egypt.

Year 5/6 took inspiration from a Brighton based collage and mixed media artist , Maria Rivans

Their collages, titled "Who Am I?", are montages of images that express something about their identity including family, hobbies, and anything they are passionate about.

Hopefully, it won't be long before you can see the children's work in person but until then we hope you enjoy this glimpse of the creativity we get to see every day!
