Key Stage 1 Charity Cake Sale

In RE, KS1 have been learning about the work of local charity St. Augustine’s - who offer support for people seeking asylum in the local area.

The children decided that they would like to hold a cake sale to raise some money for those who are less fortunate than themselves and they did a marvellous job! Children throughout the school flocked to KS1 classroom at playtime to buy some snacks. There were: biscuits, donuts, cupcakes, brownies and much, much more. A BIG thank you to all the parents who either baked or popped to the shop to support this great cause.

Well done KS1 - you raised £47.65.. A big tap on the back for every one of you. We are all very, very proud of your efforts.
