Year 3/4 Science: Electricity

In Year 3 & 4 the children have been learning about what electrical conductors and insulators are. By using simple electrical apparatus, they investigated which materials were electrical conductors and which were insulators.

Through creating a simple circuit they tested each material: aluminium foil, a coin, paperclip, paper, rubber and a ruler to see whether the electrical current would pass through and make the light bulb light up.

They then transferred their results into a table and wrote a short conclusion about their findings. Check out the photos below.
