Easter 2019
Easter at Hebden Royd is always a very special celebration at our school, and this year was no different. Here’s a taste of what we got up to.
The easter story
All of our classes were involved in telling the Easter Story at our special church service. Each class told a different part of the story in their own way. If you came to see it, we hope you enjoyed it.
Reverend Calvert helped us all to make a palm cross to take home and taught us what they symbolise. The older children helped the younger children.
Eggcellent creativity
Amazing, elegant bonnets were paraded in the hall, and dozens of decorated eggs. Look at how creative our children are!
