Welcome to the Year 2 class page. As the oldest infants, we enjoy being role models and care for the younger children in Key Stage 1.  Here we practise our skills of kindness, politeness and honesty.

We enjoy learning new and exciting things through being active and creative.  We love Maths in our busy classroom where we work and talk together to make sure everyone understands.  We firmly believe that “everyone can” do Maths and our best efforts help to keep the whole class together.

We absolutely love stories and one of our favourite activities is listening to a story being read.  Our great phonics work in year 1 makes us all great readers which inspires us to be strong writers.

We are a lively, friendly bunch who enjoy playing with friends as we build up our independence to tackle KS2 with confidence.
