Early Years Foundation Stage - Nursery

As part of our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit we welcome Nursery age children.  We have 3 intakes a year (September, January and Easter) and any child that has turned 3 years of age is eligible for a place.

Every child is entitled to 15 hours a week free care funded by the Government, this equates to 5 sessions. You may also qualify for the extended 30 hour funding which can be used as full time in our Nursery or split with other settings or at our before and after school care facility. Extra sessions can also be added at a cost of £12 per half day (3 hours).

As part of our settling in procedure we invite your child to come into school and spend an hour with us before building up to a half day visit prior to their starting.

We have a large range of fun and exciting activities on offer, including arts and crafts, PE, music and movement and a "sticky kids" dance session.  We also pair up Foundation Stage children with an older child in the school who acts as an older buddy to be a friend around the school.  Look at the Early Years Foundation Stage class page to see the exciting activities we are currently involved in.

You are welcome to visit any time to see how simple it is for you to let your child join our full time Nursery and SchoolsOut. You will also find out how exciting it is for your child to be part of our school.

Come and visit to see all of this .....
